I have heard Janoko is very cheap (which is what im after- quality- not so much. as long as it can be worn once at the wedding i dont really care!!! :)!). Does anyone know any more info about Janoko??? Appx costs for 3 piece mens suit??
Also- does anyone know where Janoko is actually located?/??!

This is a great site for first timers. I was wondering could you actually buy cottees cordial in Bali instead to taking it with us.?
Hello Susan
I did not see any thing from cottees over there, so i suggest that u take your own bottle, put it in a plastic bag and then into your suit case or it will be confiscated at the departure airport. My family thought i was silly taking cordial with me but i had the last laugh as they all had the need to take it.
Cheers John

to all the larger ladies including myself size 16-18+ I recommend you take some of your own clothes. Tops are relatively easy to find but bottom halves are a bit harder. I have found some but you do need to look. I recommend a great tailor in poppies lane 2 the shop is called "Janoko" and is great . I go there on my first day with a picture of what I want or look at their books and Christian makes them for me for cheaper then I can do them at home...and I sew!! Excellent quality always. Larger women will not be called fat in Bali that is rude they will call you "big boob lady" please don't be offended they see it as a compliment.

Hi there Taylah,
as far as the Clothing goes they don’t do sizing like we do every were there, you will find it in the big shops but not on the street, as far as finding something for a size 14 you will have no problem at all, but if you are taller than average the length may become a problem, but i don't think you will have any worries getting clothing over there but just keep on mind how much you are allowed to bring back. You may want to check with your airline cos you don't want to get stuck with overweight luggage fees on your way home.
Let us know how you went there may be others with there same Question and more info is always welcome.
Thanks Anna :)

PS to previous comments. Having a personal driver in Bali to take you around can be a great way to see Bali (e.g. allows flexibility in organising an itinerary, etc.). Also economical, especially if you are more than one. My driver was great.
Enjoy Bali everyone.
